In cooperation with Bafra Tourism Vocational School and the Faculty of Tourism, a conference titled “Self-Leadership” was organized with the participation of Alaçam Vocational School Director Associate Professor Dr. Zümral Gültekin.
The conference began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Yetkin BULUT, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, who shared examples from his own career management process.
During the event, which attracted great interest from our students and academics, Associate Professor Dr. Zümral Gültekin drew attention to the importance of self-leadership, self-confidence, self-motivation, and positive thinking in career management. Sharing examples from her own experiences while building her career, she emphasized that students should ask themselves the questions “Who am I and what do I want?” in the career management process. She also stressed the need to move forward with determination, in a planned manner, towards a clear goal, and by rewarding themselves.
The highly productive event concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation by Bafra Tourism Vocational School Director Associate Professor Dr. Zuhal Çilingir Ük to Associate Professor Dr. Zümral Gültekin.
