“Media and Perception Management” Conference Successfully Held

The conference titled “Media and Perception Management,” organized jointly by Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Tourism and Bafra Vocational School, was successfully held.

The event was attended by numerous academics and students, led by Prof. Dr. Yetkin Bulut, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism.

Halil Demir, Regional Director of Anadolu Agency (AA) Samsun, and Ebu Bekir Ayrancı, Regional Director of the Directorate of Communications Samsun, delivered speeches as guest speakers. They introduced themselves and their institutions and shared valuable insights from their professional journeys with the participants.

The conference highlighted the critical importance of accessing accurate information in today’s digital media landscape, emphasizing the key message that “accurate information is true power.” Discussions focused on misinformation, the processes of shaping public opinion, and corporate communication strategies within the framework of media and perception management.

The program continued with an interactive Q&A session where speakers answered questions from the students.

The event, marked by high participant engagement, concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers and a commemorative group photograph.
