Currently, Proxy and VPN solutions provided by the Department of Information Technology are used for off-campus access to the electronic resources subscribed to by our Department of Library and Documentation. To support the research processes of our academic staff and students within the scope of our University's Candidate Research University goals, the VETİS (Database Access and Statistics System) application, which offers off-campus access without requiring any browser settings as an alternative to these solutions, has been opened for trial access by our Department.
In order for our users to use the VETİS application, they must complete the registration process using their institutional email addresses (@omu.edu.tr / @stu.omu.edu.tr) via the address https://ekutuphane.omu.edu.tr/vetisbt/, complete the activation sent to their email address, and log in to the system.
Furthermore, it is considered important for the evaluation of service efficiency that our academic staff and students report their opinions regarding the application to our Department at kutuphane@omu.edu.tr.
