The “International Career Planning and Education Programs Information Seminar,” organized by our school, has been successfully held. The event featured Ceyhan İnci, ASKON Manchester President and entrepreneur residing in Manchester, England, and İlknur Ünsal, Hays&Rota International Education Consultant, as speakers.
The seminar offered inspirational information to students regarding education and career planning abroad. İlknur Ünsal shared her expertise, particularly in international education consultancy, touching upon technical subjects such as which countries offer which educational opportunities, points to consider during the application processes, scholarship and accommodation possibilities, and student visa procedures.
Ceyhan İnci, who began his speech by outlining a general framework for international education processes, stated that they facilitate student transfers from Turkey to many countries, primarily the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Malta, Scotland, Ireland, the USA, Canada, and Dubai. He broadened the students' perspective by sharing examples of current practices in various fields, ranging from language schools to academic programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, and from Erasmus Mobility to foreign language education processes. Furthermore, İnci shared sincere insights about his personal experiences and his entrepreneurial journey abroad, answered participants’ questions with great sincerity, and guided students through one-on-one conversations after the seminar.
At the closing of the seminar, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Yetkin BULUT, thanked the speakers for their contributions and presented them with tree-planting certificates. The program concluded with a raffle held among the participating students. The students selected in the raffle won various gifts, departing the seminar with both knowledge and happiness.
